We're sorry we did not get yesterdays update to you in time but we thought we'd go ahead and add today's update. Today we went to ICBF, the child welfare agency, and met with the defender of children. We had about a 15 minute wait before we could see him and the children did very well. Jhon kept wanting to wander off and did not appreciate being corralled but mostly tolerated it. Finally, we crowded all eight of us, Isabel (our translator) and the defender of children into a small cubicle. He asked us a few easy questions and then wished us the best of luck and plenty of energy. We couldn't believe it was so short (I think maybe we overwhelmed him.) So, our first prayer has been answered, we have our approval from ICBF, now, please pray earnestly that we will get one of the fast courts.
Things continue to go well. Right now, as I write this, five of the six are soundly sleeping (oops, make that 4 of the 6, Jhon just woke up). We have had a few times where they have tested their limits. Nataly wants to be in control and Jhon is so much like Caleb, always wanting what he wants when he wants it.
